All Montanans deserve a safe, healthy, and affordable place to call home. Yet, many households face housing insecurity because of a shortage of homes that fail to meet the needs of all our residents, particularly those living on low incomes, children and families, senior citizens, and people with disabilities. Montana must make progress on the great need for affordable housing by investing state dollars to build up the supply of homes affordable to all Montanans. MBPC provides research and advocacy for federal and state policies that support more production of homes and expand housing programs that make housing more affordable and accessible.
